Building AI developer tools at AWS

Currently working on Agentic AI for DevOps at Amazon, developing systems that understand developer workflows to help build better software.

Eight years at Amazon across Berlin, New York, and Seattle. Built analytics systems and recommendation engines, then worked on search infrastructure (600TB of data, 100k updates/second). Now focused on AWS developer tools.

Studied computer science in Germany. Master's thesis on predicting Bitcoin prices using sentiment analysis from Reddit and forums.

Outside of work, I focus on portrait and street photography. It provides a valuable counterbalance to software engineering—a reminder that technology should ultimately serve people, not just solve interesting technical problems.
